To think I might be pregnant??

So I'm 40, had 2 healthy pregnancies (7 & 5)followed by 2 miscarriages, then 18 months of irregular periods. Had blood test last year and April this year, have been told I'm going through the menopause. The doctor advised that the particular menopause hormone (can't remember the name) they test for was very high and I wouldn't be able to get pregnant naturally. So upset about this, but have dealt with it and decided now time to concentrate on me and what I want instead of being in this 'want another baby limbo'...

So during the last couple of weeks my youngest keeps talking about 'mummy's baby' (we haven't discussed anything informs of them) and yesterday I thought my boobs looked massive, so I had some tests in the cupboard and thought 'what the hell'...

Clear blue digital came back 'pregnant'

Totally shocked decided to try again this morning, did a clear blue (not digital one) and it came back negative so did another digital one and it came back 'failed'....

WTF?!? Is a false positive/negative possible with a digital test???

Well if I was pregnant I don't think I am anymore. Have just started spotting, which is the first time since end of Feb.

Spotting doesn't mean you're not pregnant Flowers

Could you use a different brand of test? First response early result are very sensitive.
