Hi I hope you don't mind me posting but I needed some advice. Don't know if you have guys posting on here so here goes.
Me and my darling wife have been TTC for the last 2 years to no avail. I went for the relevant tests and it turns out that my swimmers are low in count and motility. We were told we would be referred for IVF/ICSI treatment and were told that we could be eligible for 1 cycle of treatment on the NHS. My wife is 35 and all her tests came back as ok. Most recently she had her blood test. We have just found out that her AMH reading was 3.9 and it needs to be 5.4 (that's what I read is one of the criteria) she will be having another test. My question is I've read that this generally won't increase. We have no children and fit all the other criteria - would they turn us down for NHS funding due to an AMH of 3.9 ? The other route would have to be self funded which is extremely expensive and this has come out of the blue as we thought we would be ok for NHS funding and it just feels like another setback. ? Am I right to be worried ? I've tried to keep my wife's spirit's up as I don't want her to worry too much as I've read stress can also affect AMH
