Medical abortion after having children

Ok. New here so I'm feel a little worried about what comments I may receive.
I have had a medical termination from home today after missing my period 10 days ago.
The bleeding has got fairly heavy and I'm passing some fairly big clots. Is this normal?
I have had 3 children youngest is 4 and this was a choice my husband and I found hard to choose but the pregnancy was unplanned.
I'm in no pain but the bleeding is pretty bad and I've just passed a clot about the size of my hand....
I don't know what to expect so please any comments are very useful

Hey everyone.
Since the biggest clot I have had a few more little ones but it's defo calming a bit.
Going to give it another hour, change pad then try sleep

ImNewHere1105 please don't be scared to call 111 if you are worried. I hope you manage to get some rest, if not sleep.

Abbazed please learn how to make sure you have carefully AND understood people's posts. The OP clearly said I'm in no pain; it is a distressing time for her and her husband after making a difficult decision, so you effectively shouting '999' is alarmist and totally uncalled for.

@OneEndStreet thank you. Those comments where why I was scared to post in the first place x

My experience … I have no idea if I was pregnant or not but my period was a month late and I passed a similar sounding clot. Pain for me was like a bad period. Did they tell you what to expect? Did they give you a leaflet?
If you are at all concerned which it sounds like you are (or you wouldn't be posting on here) I would dial 111.

Ive had a miscarriage and a termination, I had very large clots with both but thats my experience if you ever need reassurance fall the helpline they gave you. I wouldn't feel comfortable saying yours is normal.

I think you shouldn't panic now try and rest and if your at all worried in the morning call your doctor. Take care of yourself.
