To feel heartbroken for all of our Nurses and Medical staff

Being made reduntant? Its so devestating to have these people loosing their homes and stuff. How incredibly unfair. Also so many hospitals starting to enter bankruptcy and closing meaning millions of people without care

How do we pay for healthcare twice here? I don’t pay for it through taxation. I pay less than a third in tax here than I would in the UK on the same salary. Even with my subsidized monthly premium added to my tax I pay less than I would pay in tax in the UK. Our sales tax is also lower. We pay just over 10% here (because I live in a state with no state income tax) but VAT is 20% in the UK. I’d rather have the choice.
