@Hugglespuffed - our season ends 31st Oct. They may say you can go but only if you use the shower etc in your van not the communal ones. We had a new van coming in April so we’re paying for an empty pitch ! No idea where our van is 😂

Hugglespuffed · 08/05/2020 09:51

Thanks @Bluewarbler27 I'm always interested to see what others think. My parents use the communal showers but if it meant they could use their caravan then they would definitely hook up their caravan shower!

ConnieDoodle · 08/05/2020 09:56

My first thought was also begins with b and ends with son.

June is three weeks away, you won't be going on holiday in three weeks time. I'm sure that Ireland are planning to open their holiday parks in Phase 3 or 4 of their plan. We aren't even in Phase 1 yet.

Spidey66 · 08/05/2020 10:23

We're rearranging a holiday in Northern Ireland from June to September. I don't think there's much joy in going on holiday when pubs, restaurants and attractions are shut.

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 08/05/2020 10:24

I’m got one booked early August, doubt we are going

KKSlider · 08/05/2020 11:55

DH and I are meant to be going for a weekend in Poland in October for our wedding anniversary and have been told that it likely won't be going ahead as the country is only allowing Polish nationals in right now and once this lifts they are going to be using a two week quarantine for all visitors. Hopefully it'll have been lifted by October but we've been advised to prepare for it to have not been.

Isawamagpie · 08/05/2020 12:03

I too, am surprised. Even more so when I was told that they had confirmed it still going ahead.

Thank you for reply, I am really hoping that it will be cancelled, I keep getting conflicting information when I try and look up traveling abroad!

Isawamagpie · 08/05/2020 12:04

sorry was meant to tag @Hugglespuffed
In my previous post!

Also following. Really want to book a cottage in Norfolk for two families (related) for end August. Their website says they are booking and no refunds Hmm. It's quite expensive.

Gah, wot to do.

Got no other holidays planned (obviously, but I mean not in future either).

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 08/05/2020 12:18

We're booked in the UK for the end of August. I am hoping it will be OK. It's a cottage so not shared accommodation but obviously other people may have used it the week before. I am apparently supposed to be shielding but I think there's been a mistake so that complicates it further!

PanamaPattie · 08/05/2020 12:31

I reckon there will be no UK holidays until at least next year. Save your money until then.
