A Labour councillor has been formally warned by for working with Conservative councillors to help a food bank.

When he defended himself, he was warned again.

Sounds a bit bonkers, particularly as Keir Starmer and Boris Johnson have urged a cross party approach to the Covid situation.

I think he was warned for appearing in their PR rather than for actually doing it, which I suppose I can understand.

Other than the odd minor dig all the loud parties have been refreshingly quiet as of late.

I always wondered how Boris who must be one of the most privileged men in the country appealed more to working class voters than Jeremy.
Then labour pull a stunt like this and I can see why.

The video is pretty innocuous and hardly party politicking

"The letter said: "It is in the Tories' interests to appear that they are working cross-party in order for them to satisfy the standards set by the Taskforce, LGA and other bodies which have been keeping track of Council performance."

The momentum bots and labour shills on twitter (they won't comment on this thread) must feel real proud, fighting tooth and nail to defend the worst Labour party in British history.

The alternative is to accept they could be wrong and we can all see how much self reflection has happened since the election.

It's somewhat ironic that the Momentum/Corbyn fans of labour have turned out like the Tea Party Movement.
