AIBU to think my boobs have gone crazy - menopause?

NC due to embarrassment.
Posting here for traffic, apologies.
I'm 56, having asymptomatic menopause, not on HRT or owt else. Am normally healthy apart from taking thyroxine.
My boobs have gone crazy, they have been behaving unreasonably for the last year.
The left is swollen, tender, painful and covered in tiny red pinprick spots, some raised. The right is normal size (approx 2/3 of the size of the other one), also spotty but no swelling or pain. The basic skin is the normal colour under the spots. It doesn't look like pics of IBC.
I went to the local breast clinic on the 2-week pathway last September, had a mammogram and ultrasound and was sent on my way after the radiographer spent all of 2 minutes then dismissed me as a hypochondriac, which I'm not at all.
I got a second opinion at a city teaching hospital where the service was atrocious, I was fobbed off, lied to and again made to feel I was making a fuss about nothing. I am not.
I've been taking 3000mg of EPO daily since December, no difference.
Latest is big red blotches of bright red, raised marks like dry skin around my bra line.
I want to believe the fobbing off I've had i.e. 'this is normal at your age' but my boobs have ALWAYS been small, quiet and well-behaved, this is not normal for me. The swelling is painful, the rashes are getting worse, AIBU to demand a third opinion, I would be very grateful to know if anyone else has had anything like this.
Many thanks for any replies.

My breasts have always had painful times anything hormonal sets them off I’ve told a few gps I want them off, they’ve been that painful,

Thanks for replying Holothane. It's the asymmetry and the spots I'm worried about. Sorry to hear about your pain.

Have you ruled out an allergy to something causing the rash ? I have had allergic reactions to dye in bras.
Could you pay to see someone privately? You will then get more time to talk through your concerns.

Thanks for your reply Vix. My GP wrote to the local NHS specialist who also works at the local Spire private hosptal (£500 for a 10 minute consultation was quoted). The reply was dismissive, recommending EPO and suggesting that I was making a fuss about nothing. Frustrating.

How annoying ! I had a red rash over one breast and I was terrified of ibc as a friend of mine had died of it. I paid to see my consultant quickly and he could not have been kinder or more thorough. He cost a lot less than that !
Can you ask local friends if they have seen anyone good ?

New Allergy ? Perhaps to washing detergent actvated when you get hot or sweaty. My sister developed new allergies when she hit menopause

Thanks Back, I'm hoping that is the case re. the skin. But it's the asymmetry and swelling I'm really worried about. Both boobs I could understand, but why only one? I know bodies do cray things, but this is just weird !

Vix, you've made me decide to seek a different private opinion now. In my area we're stuck with a Spire which is full of useless, arrogant profiteers. I knew I didn't need the mammo or ultrasound again, so asked for the 2nd opinion in St James NHS Leeds where they were totally dismissive. I'll look for another local private consultant like the one you saw.

I saw mine at the nearest Spire, but he is the person I would have seen anyway if I had waited for the NHS appointment.
