I’m 2 days late took pregnancy test it was negative could i be pregnant?

I’ve never conceived before but me and my partner are trying im usually bang on time but for some reason this month i’m late and i’ve had abdominal cramps and back pain but i don’t usually get pain until my periods here i’ve also been feeling really sick I don’t know if i’m just over thinking or if i should just go with what the test says

I’d get a first response test, the normal ones can be negative until quite a few days after you are due. Also look for a faint line, they aren’t always very clear! All the best and ignore the comments about timing.

Do you track ovulation at all OP?
My last cycle I ovulated a week late so didn’t get a bfp until a week after my expected AF. My fingers are crossed for you!

I had this exact issue last month, my period finally turned up 10 days late for no apparent reason! Take another test in 4cm days time, if still nothing ring the Drs :)

I didn't get a positive test with DC2 until I was a week late so you could well be. Buy a proper test and try again in a few days if your period doesn't start.
