I started a job at a large firm, the exact same day and in my exact department a girl of the same age started too.

We had the same (not common) surname, same middle names, born on the same year about a week apart, our mothers had the same first and middle names and weirdest of all, our partners at the time had the same surname which again was not common!

We stopped asking each other questions in the end as it was too bizarre!

Anyone else have any examples of coincidences that are just too strange to believe?!

I once met a guy at a house party.
We got talking and discovered we were born in the same hospital, neither of us lived in the area anymore.
It got weirder when we realised we were born on the same day and we had the same surname.
I’ve never met anyone else with my surname, really quit uncommon.

Not as exciting as the others but my ex husband and i has lots of coincidences considering we grew up hundreds of miles apart was quite weird, i just cant remember any of them now.

One with my DP, my eldest son was born the day after my birthday, DP's eldest son was born the day after his birthday (I am not his sons mother) which i always found odd

Many years ago I was on a residential training course and got friendly with one of the other participants. She was chatting about her soon to be husband and mentioned something familiar about his work, turned out she was marrying the man I had lived with for 3yrs prior to meeting my DH.

My M&D (live in the north of England) went on a cruise in the Bahamas and got friendly with another couple (who were from the south of England) The couple turned out to be the parents of the headmistress at my children's school in the south west.

At primary school I had a friend called Jason. I moved away at Easter in YR6, new school etc.
Finished secondary school and decided to go to the local college. Waiting outside my form room on the first day and there was Jason who had been placed in the same college class as me.

Was on holiday last year and DD’s ex teacher from 5/6 years ago ran over to me. So random that he was sitting outside a pub that we were walking past at that moment and he was only on a day trip there.

I’ve also now realised from my village (that I’ve not lived in that long) FB page that my ex-boss from 20 years ago also lives in the same village. I haven’t bumped into him yet, I was a bloody nightmare when I was younger, he used to despair at me Grin
Maybe best to stay incognito.
