Food boxes from small producers- ideas please

I have been looking for food boxes to send to 2 family members on the extremely vulnerable list and have not set foot outside the house for over a month.
They've had some basic supermarket ones (Morrison's, M&S), but I'm looking for ideas to help save smaller artisan producers and that are something a bit different.
So many only seem to deliver in and around London and I need one that delivers to the North.
Please add you ideas to this thread.

I've found that a lot of local delis have branched out into sending parcels to people. My local one does and I've found one near Bridlington so I've been able to send some really nice things to my Gran.
My suggestion is google "delis near xx" and then check out the websites that it brings up.

I'll add the one I've found so far (I know for sure this one is amazing as we visited last summer)- it seems to do quite a few diff boxes and delivers nationwide:

Are you happy to say the area? As a previous poster said local delis are often good. Mine is doing lots of delicious ready meals which I've been ordering for my parents, and a s a change for us! Or if you're on FB asking on a page local to that area might work?

Betty's looks good for some teatime treats.

Thanks for the tips about googling delis- I've not had much luck though.

The area is Cheshire/ North Wales/ Chester.

Though any tips for artisan-type producers/ delis that deliver nationwide would be good - so we can buy some too!

If you're on FB, find the local COVID action or community group & ask on there. That's how I have found things for my parents and in laws at opposite ends of the country & miles from us

There's a fab shop in Lancaster but I dont know if they deliver outside.

What is their local town? I would join the local Facebook chat page or covid support group for that town, then you'll be able to see adverts and posts about local businesses.

Otherwise ring the restaurants, butcher etc in that town to see if any are offering food box deliveries.

The problem with national suppliers is that many are overstretched, just as supermarkets are.

More and more of the stalls that are at these markets are coming online. You might find something here, I've got a delivery coming this week including eggs and milk but also some fancier things.

You could look at The Hollies farm shops too, I know they're delivering but not to Chester, think it's a 10 mile radius of their shops.
