Watch Friday Night Dinner as a family... hello all!

Since lockdown we have been drinking every night but I'd put on a kilo on Monday so I have not had a drink all week.

Come 5pm today, I was demanding DH finished work early to make me a G&T 👌 he has made lamb on the BBQ to have with salad, good bread and a chilli sauce. Easter egg to finish up and an early night for me. It's been a loooooong week of parenting for me.

The problem for me is, although I love sweets, and I'm not a vegetarian; I won't eat sweets that have animal gelatin in their ingrediants. So, it's all about the vodka.

Indian takeaway for us tonight, I had lamb tikka masala, bath shared with DH and a very large gin & tonic. Bliss!

We got a takeaway at lunch today, we are both working from home and it’s payday and I lamented that I miss going out for big lunches with colleagues (normally just to the pub or the pizza place etc) so we ordered a big lunch in, it was great!

Ribs and chips while we watched the latest star wars film, now I'm in bed with the baby in his cot. Phone scrolling and eating some Easter egg 😋 Happy days!

Netflix and sex (maybe some wine? or not?).

Homemade pizzas from our new pizza oven in the garden and then a zoom family quiz with a glass of wine. We're behind schedule though as waiting for our toddler granddaughter to go to sleep and she's just gone into a big bed this week. Fingers crossed she gives up soon!

Pinot Grigio and Pizza Hut pizza earlier after work. Now I’m on the decaf coffee and chocolate digestives. Happy Friday!

Chinese takeaway, glass of white wine, gardeners world, followed by gogglebox. Going to bed with the knowledge that I'm getting my one and only lie in of the week in the morning. Bliss...

Fishfinger butty on thick white bread (always eat the healthy brown, cereal bread normally) with shitloads of mayo, green wine and Gogglebox.

Wine! Used to be a Chinese but our local one is closed so DH made us chicken satay for tea

I cooked a lovely meal having relied on dp to cook all week and I missed it (yes I know, it's odd, but I like cooking and I've literally worked, thrown food down my neck and slept all week). Swiftly followed by a couple of rhubard and ginger gins with ginger ale.

Total yogurt with a little fresh cream and alcohol soaked berries (wooden spoon from Waitrose before Christmas)

The children are asleep, DH has cooked a curry, I have a glass of ice cold Prosecco in my hand and we're able about to watch a movie.

I just had a cookie my son baked which is a treat as I am trying to lose weight. Watching the gino, Fred and Gordon thing then Friday night dinner. Friday night is comedy night after a hard week
