He Tweeted: "It’s the Queens birthday next Tuesday. Let’s throw her a surprise. At 9am 21st April, we are calling on the whole country to sing Happy Birthday from our windows and doorsteps. Let our song bring good cheer not just to Her Majesty but to the whole nation"

I'm sure he means well but really?

Pretty bloody sure she wouldn't hear any of us peasants singing from the safety of her second home.

Plus I'll be busy working.

hyacinthbouquetsbucket · 16/04/2020 18:29

The responses to that tweet were some of the best I've ever read. Kept me amused most of the day.

Did you see the one about the wasp's nest? Grin

Oh fuck off Ben.

Cnoc · 16/04/2020 18:30

I think that's the silliest idea I've come across lately that didn't emanate from the Tory party. Or close.

PositiveVibez · 16/04/2020 18:31

Daft twat.

pictish · 16/04/2020 18:32

He’s gone down in my estimation with that one. Dozy cunt.

Mummyoflittledragon · 16/04/2020 18:34

Cnoc
Good point. Don’t hold your breath. Maybe he’ll join their ranks soon enough....

opticaldelusion · 16/04/2020 18:35

She's more worthy than the prime minister and didn't he get this? And it wasn't even his birthday.

ormami · 16/04/2020 18:35

You need to calm down. If it helps people thats all that matters

Chiyo666 · 16/04/2020 18:36

It you get comments like this! Which make life worth living.

PelicanPuffin · 16/04/2020 18:38

I could never forgive him for messing Tammy about on Castaway. I do hold grudges Grin

Who is it going to help?

koshkatt · 16/04/2020 18:40

I think it's a rather nice sentiment tbh. Let him alone.

MrsSnitchnose · 16/04/2020 18:43

He's a twat anyway, don't know why you're surprised now Grin

Can't stand him

dementedma · 16/04/2020 18:44

I rather like Ben Fogle. Well fit and a bit of posh to try.
But this one might be a step too far....

Figgygal · 16/04/2020 18:45

No more silly than the clapping
Why not if it provides a short distraction

pussycatinboots · 16/04/2020 18:48

That's funny...
I did a YouGov survey about half an hour ago.
One of the questions was something along the lines of "would you sing happy birthday (at a set time on a set date) to the queen next week"
Obviously I said yes Halo

spooky Shock

DirtyTicket · 16/04/2020 18:48

I did, hyacinthbouquetsbucket. Love Joe Heenan!

AlexisCarringtonColbyDexter · 16/04/2020 18:50

He's always struck me as a bit of a stuck up, posh twit tbh.

AlexisCarringtonColbyDexter · 16/04/2020 18:51

@Chiyo666

bwahahahahaha!

Swingingsally · 16/04/2020 18:52

He seems harmless enough but it also can't bear Ben fogle

WhyCantIThinkOfAGoodOne · 16/04/2020 18:55

I won't do the happy birthday song but the clapping thing is a good thing and it's only a bunch of miserable twats who are so against it.

lmcneil003 · 16/04/2020 18:58

Virtue signalling from Fogle.
At least that walking old man has raised money, despite virtue signalling himself.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 16/04/2020 19:00

9am? Fuck that.

twirlycat77 · 16/04/2020 19:01

How cringe worthy.
