I will go and do my once weekly shop in sainsburys on Saturday - there is a car wash at the petrol station there. AIBU to use it after I've got the petrol?

We're not only allowed to do essential things. We're only supposed to make essential journeys. The OP's journey will have been made regardless!

Well at least your worries about toilet rolls are gone, if car cleaning is your preoccupation.

@Dollygirl2008 Mines called Mungo. I've previously also had Jean-Pierre and Frank Grin

I did a few weeks ago, I needed a clean car to do my job and the screen wash had run out.

Dr Hillary Jones said this morning that you mustn't wash your car on the drive

er...... why ?

LilacTree1 · 15/04/2020 19:59

I’m hoping the Hilary Jones thing was a joke...

If you are going anyway and can pay with your shopping then why wouldn’t you? Makes absolutely no difference to anyone. I just wouldn’t make a special trip of it.

chickedeee · 15/04/2020 20:27

Go do it and you don't need to ask permission from strangers online Wink

Shitsgettingcrazy · 15/04/2020 21:38

I would do it.

I was considering taking my company car. But when I got in it today, it said it's due for a service. So will call them and book it in tomorrow.

They will clean inside and out while it's there.

Never use an automated one!! I'm having palpitations just thinking about this 😲
