Would the Easter bunny be unreasonable to call off the egg search..

And maybe just leave eggs at the front or back door? It's going to be impossible to set this up.

Easter Bunny is on lockdown...

I just went out into the garden and spent literally a minute tossing small chocolate bunnies around the front and back garden Grin. None of them will be difficult to find but I really couldn’t be bothered. My older three are now reaching an age where they’re dubious about the bunny anyway.

I'm chucking the children I the garden later and hiding clues/eggs in the house. Not sure if I'll do it this morning or afternoon. The Easter Bunny did leave some footprints, a letter and a couple of tiny eggs for them this morning! My DD seems pleased with this, and I could probably not bother with all the other chocolate etc, but I know she will love it all.
If it's nice, get them playing in the garden, or keep them busy in a bedroom while you set it up.

This thread has been an eye opener. I didn't realise people did Easter egg hunts, we never had them when I was younger. I think my American relatives did them.

We never had the Easter bunny as a believable character either though so maybe it's because of that. Easter bunny was always said with a wink in our house.

Anyway, call off the hunt OP. I'm certainly not doing anything like that (although it would be very easy since DS would only have one egg to find).

I’ve did one for the first time this year. DD5 has been watching Ryan on kids YouTube and think he has one. So she’s been asking!

Think there’s about 10 tiny chocolate eggs and rabbits dotted around the house and garden with clues to the next one. Eventually leading to the big egg and Easter bunny teddy on the kitchen table! I printed out some Easter activities too, sums and dot to dots and colouring sheets etc. She’s going to love it

Most years the Easter bunny would visit our house, but around this time of year we'd also have a day out/hunt at a NT property, take part in a church organised egg hunt, spend time with friends....

So this year the Easter bunny did a much more elaborate hunt than usual in our house and garden... Overcompensating!

I actually had decided Easter bunny wouldn't be really a thing but the last few weeks have been so shite I decided to go all out.
Did a hunt with clues for the 5yo. Loved it.. pouring here so just inside. Sl

We always do an Easter egg hunt in the garden. Just chuck them into the hedges while your kids are in the bathroom or eating breakfast.

It was warm and dry overnight here so I put them out before I went to bed last night Grin
