I’m on week two (coming to week three) of being socially distanced as high risk pregnancy due to working in healthcare . I’m due in August.
Whilst my husband is home I usually find things to do with him, like we will go in the garden, talk, cook together etc but whilst he’s at work (also Healthcare) I feel like I just slob about !
What are you doing with your days ? If it’s a rainy day I don’t feel so bad but when it’s sunny I feel like I should be out in the garden but I get bored alone !
I’ve cleaned , done laundry , changed beds, washed babies clothes (Early I know but something to do!) , her nursery is practically finished . I need ideas as I feel like a right slob and so worried I’m not being active enough for baby girl! I’ve done Yoga this morning , but I’m really stuck now and I have another 10 weeks of this 😉
Please help ! Anything will do! I can’t go out for a walk alone as I have a medical condition that is risky if something happens and I’m by myself as it risks baby . Usually I wouldn’t mind but when I’m carrying a child I don’t want to risk anything. Thank you !

Personally I'm enjoying being forced to take a break, didn't think I would though.
Are there any pregnancy exercises on YouTube you could follow as you're not able to go out

GaaaaarlicBread · 11/04/2020 15:00

@Neron maybe I’ll feel like that eventually . During the week I’m ok it’s weekends i am struggling with.
Yes that’s where I’ve found my yoga , I will take a look for some more thank you :)

Hi, I'm self isolating for 12 weeks too as I am in a high risk group. I'm spending time with husband and children, working from home, keeping up with housework, exercising- yoga and HIIT workouts, reading/watching T.V, sitting out in the garden. Trying to keep structure in my days and getting a new routine. 😀

I've been in the garden, tried to declutter the kitchen, washing, binge watching my favourite tv shoes. It's making me appreciate the small things.

@GaaaaarlicBread seriously get as much rest and sleep and be as lazy as you can. Read some books and drink tea and eat cake. Once the baby comes you will hardly rest for the foreseeable!

TAKESNOSHITSHIRLEY · 11/04/2020 20:06

the same as before really

we(my partner and i)are 24/7 carers to 2 disabled children that dont sleep

they were/are home educated so were at home with us anyway

we are used to all being together 24/7

all thats changed for us is being kept in as we educate via the world via trips, days outs home ed groups.holidays, beaches visiting oter home ed friends

the boy are struggling being kept in though so we are dealing with more meltdowns that normal and are up all hours

food is the same as both eat 24/7 because of disabilities so our food bill is the same
