AIBU to be stuck at nearly the end of erecting a trampoline?

Single parent trying to erect a 12ft power jump trampoline from Smyths. Managed the springs but putting the top ring in, I just can’t get the last joint in...is it a matter of brute strength or am I missing a little trick?

@VeganVeal that’s really made me giggle first thing in the morning. Thank you. If you are correct then thank goodness I’m lower class, at least my children will be happy and healthy during this lockdown. As you obviously live nowhere near my lower class house I’m not sure really why you have such an issue. But you did make me chuckle. Bless you.

@atomicnotsoblonde well done to you too! Although we are flaunting our lower class status apparently, hope you are ok with that 😂

Have to point out that the A+E attendances are down because people are being redirected-straight to minor injuries or direct to ward-and A+Es are taking only the truly ill and dying.
Having said that, I don’t believe trampolines inevitably cause broken limbs. We’ve got one we’re planning to put up today that we’ve had since my kids birthday in Jan. So cheers for you OP for managing to get one up and thanks for the tip!!

@Dan68 pm me if you get stuck...I don’t claim to be an expert but I’ll share any hints if you get stuck xx
