I am sitting at my desk at home, working until 8pm - with a gin, and surfing Mumsnet.

I have to split my working days into two, to fit around my DS 2 and my DP. I work one shift in the morning and then from 6pm-8pm

I have just put 2 jacket potatoes in the oven , we are going to have jacket potatoes, sausages, beans and cheese, and watch rubbish when I finish working.

Sitting beside DD in her cot waiting for her to fall asleep so I can hoof it downstairs to a glass of wine and a massive strawberry tart

Drinking G&T in the garden and trying to avoid my ex and toddler. I should also be working as I haven’t finished the tasks for the day, but frankly IDGAF.

Getting ready for our Passover Seder! Just DH and I this year, which will be strange. We're about to FaceTime MIL for a bit before we light the candles.

And wondering where the random cigarette smoke smell is coming from.. nobody in our house or the neighbours smoke. Must have been someone walking past which makes no sense as our front drive is really long. ODD.

Just been mowing, I can hear the birds sing, ndn's dogs been in through the gates at the back of our gardens so just sending him back. I'm getting sunburnt.

I'm like you op, doing shifts at work but I'm working 8am til 2pm then 8pm til 11pm 😒 currently making clay animals with ds and about to start bedtime routine

Apart from laughing at reading what the tin foil hat brigade are going in about in the 5g thread, I’m playing a pretty full on role playing game with old school friends, half of them in the U.K. and half in New Zealand

Older 2 dc have rapidly decamped for an hours xbox time. Dh has gone up to put the bath on for ds3.

I’m still sitting at the table ignoring the dishes that need to be taken out in favour of surfing mn in peace.

Watching Breaking Bad (I knoooow - very late to the party but only got Netflix a few months ago) Just eaten a chicken that was in the slow cooker for 6 hours...

Trying to ignore the siamese cat swearing her head off at me. Oh good, there's a bee for her to try and eat. This should be fun. . .
