He has strange problem where food gets stuck in his throat but he's not chocking. He can't eat anything else until it dislodges. So he's going to have investigation because it's started to happen frequently but obviously we are terrified of going anywhere near hospitals at the moment.

Youngest dd 8 gets viral wheeze and has inhaler although never classified as asthmatic.

Wwyd.

Ianbu, cancel appt or iabu keep appt

If the hospital judge this to be 'non-essential' they will cancel the appointment themselves.

Exoffice I read the letter wrong it's actually in June!! 23rd!

Seeing as he has a blockage right now, and it's nit shifting yes I guess he will have to risk it!

I’d wait until the day before and see if they cancel it because if you cancel it yourself they could put you back on a long waiting list. I had an appointment for last week and the hospital cancelled it themselfs (London).

I’d go. Especially if it’s in June and it’s not cancelled. There could be a mechanical problem or a blockage or it could be something to do with nerve signals and the way the gullet moves the food down. Certain parts of the brain are responsible for swallowing etc. I would want it checking out
