I've never reported anything EVER. I'm slightly scared I won't lie but FFS!!!! They are being really loud and playing music. The kids are constantly in the street in the day time and it's really starting to anger me.

Will they know it's me? Confused

OP, you're fine, not whinging at all - you were angry about something (legitimately), posted for views, got them and decided to actually do something about it.

That's rare indeed so StarGrin

Many, many posters here have been complaining about miscreant non-followers of rules... yet done nothing more than whine and grizzle.

I hope the police do take action because that situation sounds intolerable.

Oldbutstillgotit · 04/04/2020 23:07

I wish I was as brave as you OP. Once again our NDN have had 4 generations gathering in their house . Before anyone accuses me of being a curtain twitcher or having too much time on my hands , I can see their garden from my kitchen so see all the children from various relatives playing and -AGAIN- one of the visitor’s cars is parked across our drive . As we have complained several times about parking I am pretty sure they would know it was us if they were reported so I am reluctant to do so. Also I am feeling pretty crap .

My friends neighbours have had a constant party since the weekend before we locked down. Music on constantly and a stream of friends & family in & out.

My friend is too scared to report them as they’re all HA with no chance of moving 😢

HedgehogDramas · 04/04/2020 23:10

Please just fucking report all these people who are taking the piss.

crankysaurus · 04/04/2020 23:10

Thank you OP

starrynight19 · 04/04/2020 23:12

Sad Makes me so sad this it’s my ds 18th today. We have missed so many celebrations this week and we are doing a family celebration of those in our household. It’s been really hard but we have to do it.
Why do people not just follow the rules I really don’t understand.

ivenamechangedforthispost · 04/04/2020 23:15

Party isn't loud any more and I think some have left.

When I reported I did mention that this is a daily thing and it would be good to have a police presence even just drive through every now and again.

The rest of our road is perfect! Very respectful and when times are normal are friendly and always say hello...it's just a few of the houses. It's always the same ones.

Neighbours had a street party here today. I've been ostracised as I didn't want to take part. Wish I'd reported it but there's a core of real bullies here and I'd worry about the DCs. I think HM Gov need to enforce a proper lock down, I can't see how these people are going to understand.

ivenamechangedforthispost · 04/04/2020 23:25

I think these people would even go out and carry on 'nipping in and out' in a full lock down! Envy

OP you did the right thing. Thank you!

workercovid · 04/04/2020 23:27

You did the right thing x

Eckhart · 04/04/2020 23:37

It's good that the rest of the street are behaving apart from those few. It means they won't have a clue who reported them.

Grandmi · 04/04/2020 23:43

Well done for reporting...you cannot argue with stupid !!

Enough4me · 04/04/2020 23:53

Did the right thing.

MyBlueMoonbeam · 04/04/2020 23:56

Wehttam · 04/04/2020 23:58

101 OP

People need to learn this isn’t a game or holiday anymore

Wehttam · 04/04/2020 23:59

Arrrgghh only top half of thread loaded, well done OP though, you did the right thing.

Pinkypink · 05/04/2020 00:27

Well done OP.
I genuinely don't get how people can not be worried about catching the virus.
Is it bc they don't personally know anyone ill or dead from it?
Is bc they are stupid and dont watch or read the news?
I sometimes wish I could be one of those care free people and not get panicked by anything -but then I remember they are also often totally twunts -thank you to the pp for coining that.

GreenTulips · 05/04/2020 00:37

These people will also be ignoring other rules in place.

Going out in groups, meeting up with friends, all heading to the supermarkets.

They will ignore advise and enjoy an extended holiday.

They won’t listen which is why we will be in the boat for longer

They’ll be first in the daily mail when they can’t visit a sick kid in hospital.
