How do I grieve?

NC for this.
Last week my Dad got ill with COVID19. He developed pneumonia and died in hospital a few days later with no-one beside him.
I’m currently stuck in the house with 2 preschoolers. My Mum is on her own in the house that she shared with Dad. I can’t see the rest of my family either. DH has been amazing but...
I am so angry and I have no one to vent to. My children are beautiful and lovely but I just want to be away from them and I can’t go anywhere. I feel trapped in my own grief and it just keeps building.
Please help, how do I cope with this?

I'm in a similar situation. About to lose a parent. Not allowed to visit until just before the end.

I am so sorry, OP. This is just a dreadful situation. My mum is terminally ill and like others on this thread, we’re not able to see her.

I am absolutely dreading grieving during lockdown, and looking after two small kids on my own. All of the things I’d normally rely on to get me through have been taken away by fucking coronavirus.

I do think many of us are at risk of complex bereavement because of these dreadful circumstances.

I'm assuming there is someone to vent to, but you can't be with them right now. Could you take your phone, go on a walk and have that vent to them? I think that would feel more like the meet up that you really want. I'm sorry, OP, this is such a cruel time.
