To be worried I am loosing my hair?

First world problem right now I know. Hard to explain but my hair hurts on the left side of my head. Has done for a good few weeks.
De google keeps mentioning alopecia and I am freaking as I am loosing so so much hair at the moment. I have thick hair so not noticeable but am worried about it.
Anyone else every have “sore hair”? Best way I can describe it

Did anyone find out why they were getting this sore/burning/pulling sensation on their scalp? If so, please let the rest know. I don't think I have alopecia, as it's diffused hair loss and sudden.

I do have PCOS, but that's gradual thinning. Sudden shedding is a different case. Anyone?
