To think it's A CHEEK to offer year long visas for migrant health workers

We should be offering them permanent residence and heaps of gratitude and a pay rise

What I want to know is what happens at the end of the year? for some of them will it be 'well you've helped us through a really crap year but you can no longer live here' ? I just find it gobsmacking.

Same like what would happen if their visa run out now normally? I think it's safe to assume that. Reapply or not.
I don't think automatic residency is the right thank you...

Are nhs staff with uk citizenship getting anything extra? No. Though they would deserve it!

It would also be incredibly unfair to others who have been here for years and are waiting to be eligible for the indefinite leave to remain
