after having a baby? 18 months of legs later and I still feel like I have no strength. I've just started seeing someone and haven't had sex since my son was conceived (feels like a lifetime - think I've forgotten how to do it). AIBU to think that I'll never be the same? I'm doing my kegels correctly and do them every day, religiously. Starting to worry...

I would switch to exercise that isn't going to put pressure on your pelvic floor, like running does. I think it will improve in time, I remember that heavy feeling up to 2 years post baby no.2, perhaps because I breastfed until he was almost 3, something to do with the hormones maybe. Though I had a C-section both births but my second baby had a huge head, he was overdue and head down for quite a while before birth so it caused quite a bit of pressure on my pelvic floor and perhaps some damage.
There's some yoga positions which help with pelvic floor, possibly Pilates too.

Get the care you need. Don't do kegels until you are sure they are the right exercises to do for your condition. You need a medical diagnosis quickly. What you have is serious.
