Baby fell off armchair 😭

Hi all.

DD is 12 months and very active and already running around!

She was sitting on the armchair in the living room. I was sitting there watching her, but she spotted a toy she liked on the floor and threw herself over the arm before I had a chance to grab her! It was only about a two/three foot fall, but she landed on the back of her head/neck

She howled for about a minute but now seems totally fine. Eating toast, running around shouting, and laughing at the TV. I don’t know wether to call 111 just in case (she landed on a carpeted floor).

I feel so awful and can’t stop crying and shaking

Rite of passage, people, not a right.

Thanks Judy, I'd only ever heard this expression aloud rather than seen it written down, and hadn't thought it through. Now I know.

Mines fallen off the bed twice in her 13 months of life. Both time’s within a blink of an eye. She’s fine. And she’ll come off the sofa soon, she’s trying to fling herself off daily.
