To beg you for back pain advice

Since Christmas I've been in agony. Lower back. It's exacerbated by sitting for more than 10 minutes - any kind of chair. An hour in the car and I can't walk a step.

I've been doing Pilates but since the gym shut I'm trying to do it at home. Also saw an osteopath but that wasn't much help. So daily stretches on the carpet. Child's pose, cat cow, stuff like that.

I'm 36. Feeling old. But not THAT old. I have a 2 year old and gained weight in pregnancy and am fighting hard to lose it. Half a stone off since Christmas. But the pain continues.

Doc sent me to a physio who did nothing.

I'm super careful about bending from the knee.

I found out my one leg is 1-2cm longer than the other, if that adds anything.

Pain pain pain. The professionals just tell me that everyone gets back pain.

Wail! Cry! Help!

I can't take NSAIDS as they're contraindicated to other meds. Which is a bummer. I popped something in my pelvis (crack so loud DH heard it across the kitchen) on 26th March.

Update from me. Vomited in the morning and the convulsions jarred my back - could not move an inch. Fainted trying to stagger to toilet later on.
Even later on got to toilet and fainted on the toilet. Mum found me and we called 111. Put the phone down and vomited everywhere. Good thing my mum was there!
Ambulance arrived and took me in, I had taken co codamol which is supposed to be safe in the first trimester. Didn't touch the pain so docs gave me three types of painkiller and a blood test. Turns out I had a uti I didn't know about - phew to that because an infection killed my previous baby.
So home with serious drugs, antibiotics and a couple of nights in my mum's bed. Feeling on the mend.

I See new poster @iklboo has pins and needles. Hospital told me that's a classic sign of a slipped disc which is dangerous. Call 111 asap x

DDPYOGA is great for back pain, as it can be modified to suit all needs. There is an app called DDPYOGA Now which can be done on a monthly subscription. Have a look at this video, which is what started me doing DDPY a fair few years ago.

If you like the idea, you can join on the Team DDPY website and there is a members resource area, where you can find a couple of basic videos to try out.
