If you are sat close to the person, but they do not cough or sneeze and you don't share anything with them e.g. Towels etc..
Hope this doesn't sound stupid, just feeling worried in case I could have caught it from the kids at my school before we closed..

I think 15 minutes in close proximity can pass it on. Did any of them show symptoms?

Choo975 · 27/03/2020 22:41

It’s possible

Sapphiresunrise · 27/03/2020 22:42

Oh :/ no, none showed symptoms but I read that a lot of kids can be asymptomatic.. You just can't trust all kids to do social distancing :/

Wonderful..
Some parents were still sending in kids with a cough or who said they felt unwell too.
I finished one week ago and started having a sore throat yesterday (that's my only symptom for now)

You can catch it when people breathe, talk etc

Sapphiresunrise · 27/03/2020 22:47

I wish schools had closed earlier..

I know exactly how you feel! I'm a TA so also work in close contact with children. I'm also still at work every day with our key worker/ vulnerable children. I also wish that schools had closed earlier.

How you feel is completely valid and its okay to worry. I try to take things one day at a time. Today you have a sore throat. Sore throats can be because of lots of different things - from hayfever to a cold.

Keep an eye on your symptoms and seek medical advice if they get worse but try to take things one day at a time! If you need to chat I'm here!!
