@mummymayhem18

It showed / gave you quite a lot of answers from the series. I won't say more but recommend you rewatch the credits until the very end.

Going to rewatch under the premise of DS’s German home study.

Bella2020 · 29/03/2020 19:13

A Place To Call Home. Its an Australian drama, six series long, and I loved every second!

Bella2020 · 29/03/2020 19:18

Just thought of another - Strike Back. Absolutely brilliant!

Bella2020 · 29/03/2020 19:29

The Thorn Birds!!

Winniewonka · 29/03/2020 19:30

Shtisel -Wonderful Israeli drama about Orthodox Jewish family living modern day Jerusalem

Babylon Berlin - Crime drama set in 1920s Berlin. Outstanding attention to historical detail

Phoenix Nights - nearly twenty years old and still makes me laugh

Rubberoftheband · 29/03/2020 19:33

@Bella2020 OMG to both of those! They were both great!

I loved the fact that a place to call home had a proper ending! I had it on DVDs so binge watched it about 18 months ago.

VivaLeBeaver · 29/03/2020 19:47

Oh my days The Thorn Birds was amazing. The book is great but that 1980s tv show was the best.

Bella2020 · 29/03/2020 19:48

@Rubberoftheband Yes! I loved that we got to hear how things turned out for all the characters in APTCH. Henry & Harry finally legally marrying in their 90s!

Another I've just thought of - To The Manor Born. Fabulously funny!

imation · 29/03/2020 20:36
