To think ironing is NOT an essential business?

Next door neighbour has an ironing business. I see her going out at least once a day to pick up / deliver ironing to people's houses. AIBU to think she shouldn't be doing this? It's not "absolutely necessary" and is not "essential travel".

It's not about getting on me. It's that if she goes out to work unnecessarily and catches it, she then passes it on to other people say when she goes shopping. The virus will spread a lot more than if she (and others like her) just stayed at home.

I don't know, maybe my thinking is flawed but it's pretty terrifying having an immunocompromised relative at the moment.

@Selfisolationquery
Is the neighbour doing your ironing? If not, then you've no need to worry. Businesses are still allowed to continue. Working from home, delivery, frontline HCW, all sorts is still allowed. Your neighbour wouldn't be able to put her children in school. All the customers need to do is to leave the ironing for a couple of days before wearing the clothes in order to reduce the risk of contamination. Which is not yet proven.

I'm sure it might be possible to measure the theoretical overall increase in risk by a person going out twice a day but I think the immune compromised were all now in full self isolation so there's no extra risk to them if she goes out surely.

Not once has it said only essential businesses can run

Actually, that's what Boris did say on Monday's 8.30 broadcast. It wasn't in line with what the actual rules are, but he did say that people could only work if it was essential work.

This was clarified the next day and in the written instructions, it says that if you cannot work from home you are allowed to go to work, but you should practice social distancing and don't work in one of the businesses that have been instructed to close.

Your neighbour wouldn't be able to put her children in school I didn't say she had school aged children? She has older teenagers who can (and do) look after themselves.

No, he didn't. He said you can still go to work if your job cannot be done from home, but to stay at home where possible.
