To think they should refund

I'm a regular poster but NC due to this being a bit outing

So due to go on a hen weekend in 2 weeks . Cost £1800 for a large house for the weekend for 12 people. Obviously this isn't on now and the bride is having to consider her wedding my not go ahead and is naturally distraught having been planning for 2 years .

The company are refusing to give a refund. It's 5 hours from where we live and they say they will hold the date for 12 months but the wedding if it goes ahead is too soon for us to organise again and if it doesn't could be another 2 years away now.

We have asked for a refund but they refuse saying they are not cancelling .

Is it unreasonable to ask for a refund?

Not unreasonable at all.

Not unreasonable but overly optimistic. You might be losing a few hundred pounds they will be loosing all their business for months and may be facing bancrupcy.

@venusandmars I am sure they can claim for losses , even if they said 50% and hold 50% they're a massive company we are all minions facing the same and I know everyone is under pressure right now but it's the principle I just feel they are being really unfair
