For being annoyed at my neighbour?

My neighbour's teenage son has been on self-isolation after coming down with some symptoms and he took the right step and put himself in his room. However, the rest of the family are taking the dogs out for walks, playing with other kids in the neighbourhood and generally being out and about.

Am I right in thinking that they should be more concerned with the spread of germs? I'm also concerned as my nephew who is 2 years old with medical issues has since started showing symptoms since hanging around with the neighbour's daughter. (This was before we knew the teenager had put himself in isolation otherwise we would have told my brother and he wouldn't have let my nephew play with him).

What would you do in this situation?

We are in a lockdown they shouldn’t be interacting with anyone not in their own family household and only going 1 walk a day and that’s even if the teenager didn’t have symptoms. Arguably they should be on full lockdown.

Why is a 2yr old, especially one with medical issues playing with children outside the family in the first place ffs?

wehaveafloater · 26/03/2020 17:36

I met a family of five all out walking yesterday and four of them have ( allegedly) got it.
I wasn't close to them but I still felt that they shouldn't be out en mass or even alone . Although my DH pointed out that they were simply out on a walk like we were and that's allowed. Still doesn't sit right with me.

Pollypocket89 · 26/03/2020 18:12

No, you aren't allowed out if you actually HAVE it

wehaveafloater · 26/03/2020 20:03

Well that's why I thought !

If someone in the house has it everyone has to stay at home. No work, no walks and no shopping:

I've read through that link I I can't see a bit where it says no walks for those that (think they) have it. If I could see the bit I'd highlight it and message them about it .

So if you know where it is and ive missed it ) please can you highlight it and re post.
Thank you 🙏🏻

Second bullet point under main messages @WeHaveAFloater

if you live with others and you are the first in the household to have symptoms of coronavirus, then you must stay at home for 7 days, but all other household members who remain well must stay at home and not leave the house for 14 days. The 14-day period starts from the day when the first person in the house became ill.

Sorry, should have put it in speech marks. Hopefully the picture works.

@JRUIN my nephew always plays with them pre-coronavirus and the daughter is very gentle with him. The neighbours will allow her to play with him even without permission from my brother but that's for another forum.
