AIBU to be tempted to post ODFOD to DD's home ec teacher who has sent an email to all kids via google classroom telling them off for not baking anything yet?

I do not want to go to the shops for flour, cookie mix or whatever hell else is in her recipe.

I want to go to the shops for the minimal time possible to get essential toiletries and/or meat and veg.

Preferably get the above delivered rather than go to any shop.

So AIBU to think she can FTFO?

Tempting though it is to do so, a slightly less aggressive (more passive aggressive) way of doing it would be asking what shop she is using and where it is, as there hasn't been any flour, eggs, butter, sugar, milk or cream in the five nearest supermarkets for over a fortnight, so you'd really appreciate a heads up on where you can find these elusive items, seeing as there also haven't been any online slots for delivery in the same period.

It's a bit optimistic of the teacher to be expecting baking with how limited supplies are. YANBU for being tempted at all, although YWBU to do it.

Maybe get DD involved with dinner/lunch prep and send photos to the teacher so it's clear DD is doing what she can with what is available in a bloody horrible situation?

Cooking healthy and nutritious food with limited availability is a much more important skill, particularly in this climate!
