Hi. Can anyone explain the Ocado virtual queue to me please?

I've found my Ocado reserved emails are a few days later than usual, mine is on a Wednesday, and I didn't get an email until Saturday this week.

@aquafaba I saw what you did with 3 days and no availability but then filled the cart past the minimum and when I went to checkout it then offered me slots. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just coming on to say that, I managed to login the other day and sign up for ocado reserved. The slots for my ocado reserved slot but I'm hoping (🤞🏻) that when they open up slot for 3 weeks from now, that I'll have that slot reserved going forward. For now, I managed to get an ASDA delivery for Saturday.

Sorry that didn't make sense! The reserved slot I signed up for is full for the next 3 weeks but hopefully I'll have it moving forward.

Does anybody know when they're going to open slots up again or is that it now? We're ok as we can go to the supermarket if we need to but I'm getting food delivered to my elderly parents in Suffolk so am worried I'm not going to be able to do that. We're a 3 hour drive from them so it's not even easy to leave it on their doorstep and as they're reasonably rural, they don't have neighbours who could help out.

Oh God. Its a 4 hr wait right now! Ive managed to get in a few times today and hot nowhere. As posters above, all slots booked and nothing past 3 days. They took my smart pass money out yesterday happily enough

There is a queue to get in the queue now, it is crazy. Just when it had returned to normal ((yesterday I managed to log on several times with no queue) now it is even worse than it was before. I have tried so many times today but I get distracted and forget about it and lose my place. At one point I was 35000 in the queue!

It is busy today because of lockdown being announced.

I got through a wait of 34,000 today and that was the second time I'd got as far as check out, but there were no slots available to progress any further. The calendar goes to the end of April and there was absolutely nothing, so my page is sat there, trolley has the goods but it's going nowhere. I've been a regular shopper since 2002, so not just trying to take advantage because of the current situation.

We queued for two hours last night to find out there were no delivery slots available.

Why are Ocado struggling so much? Tesco website and app are fine. Just no slots but you can get in and edit your orders etc.

I am in a queue of 2000 and it isn’t even 6am

Hi, I made it in this am as well. Have put just what we needed in the trolley. Check out.......and no slots! Of course.

If it helps anyone. My sister is in Birmingham and she got an asda slot yesterday, so if youre down (or up!) there, give it a try.

You wait for ages to see that there are no slots.

I’ve had a basket sitting for days that I managed to fill in the middle of the night but like others I can only see three days of deliveries and they are all booked ☹️

@mashpot me too! Logged on at 6am on at 7am filled basket no slots... I'd be happy with one in two weeks just give me something!

I always book a slot then fill a basket as you have a couple of hours from booking the slot to do so.

I managed to get a delivery for this afternoon yesterday but I haven't had the email I normally get with the receipt / substitutions so not sure it actually will come.

I hope it does as it is shopping for vulnerable people who received the email.

I managed to book a slot! Then when I went to check out I got this.... WTF

And that's at 3:30am! How are 166k people awake at that time. Go to sleep people!

Honestly I think Ocado should just focus on the vulnerable now. It just cannot handle the masses. I’ve booked weekly on Ocado for 10 years now but will just have to shop at the local farm shop instead.
