To ask what blended families are doing?

My dd5 spends eow with her dad. She is not due to go until next Friday so we haven't spoken yet. Should I still be sending her? There are 3 other children living with him. I'm really struggling with this one, what are other families doing?

I asked asked a similar question the other day. There are also other children in my dc dads house. I think unless we get put on strict lockdown or any of begin to show symptoms they will keep going providing their dad is keeping them home like I am

There are some threads about this on the step parenting board. It seems to be a mixture of business as usual and sopping contact. Given the length of time this could go on, I'd not be keen to stop contact. My two will go to their dad for longer blocks of time and if any symptoms develop, they'll stay put for the 14 days

By next week we'll probably all be on lockdown, so it will be taken out of your hands. If all else fails, feign a temperature and tell your ex you and your daughter have to self-isolate. She's safer staying put

Dss's mum has symptoms so they're isolating, and same with me and dc2 and DH. We're having multiple chats a day, dss and ds have a video chat daily for about half an hour, and they play networked computer games and chat through that. If necessary, we'll have to drive over (45 min) and collect dss and possibly his mum, but so far dss swears he's fine.
