Now, I’d never in a million years normally fancy a Tory. But he has a lovely face

He is lovely! And comes across so well too, which really adds to the appeal!

He wears a suit VERY WELL. Dammit, I am a sucker for a good suit on a nice frame. He doesn't seem to have any paunch which by the time you get to his age puts him in the top 5% and sets him apart quickly.
He has good hair, GREAT cheekbones and the shirt and tie combo is great.
Strong voice and he's the bloody Chancellor so there's the powerful job aspect going for him too.
However, he does have slightly larger ears than usual so nobody's perfect

He's very poised and well-groomed (makes Boris look even more like an unmade bed), and he has a lovely voice that seems very soothing, but I don't think I could fancy him even if he wasn't a Tory.

That slightly over-long face, coupled with the slightly-too-big ears is a bit of a turn-off for me, I'm afraid.
