We are therefore self isolating. Is it 14 days? A few questions...can we go walking in the remote countryside?
Can i pick up my pescription medication from tescos pharmacy?
Dd is otherwise fine in her self but misses her friends. She is quite happy chilling in her room and is not a big walker but i like fresh air.

Yes 14 days from first day of symptoms, whole household should isolate. Yeah can go for a walk in countryside assuming there's very few others there (stay 2 metres away from people) and no can't collect prescription yourself , you can have it delivered or see if a friend would collect and leave on your doorstep for you

Can you change to a different pharmacy? We are self isolating due to DH and DD but had to pick up Ds medicines. Collected from a local pharmacy and rang when I was outside and they brought it out to me. Slightly harder in a tesco though as you're much further away outside. Ring then and see what they can suggest.

Do you have a partner?

Self isolation here too.

We are still having walks. Easily done round here to have no contact with others at all.

We've had contact free food delivery and food collection (that was delivered to pavement outside car door.)

No to collecting yourself normally though. Phone them and see if they can work round it contact free.

First person SI for 7 days. Rest of house for 14.
Moot point if DD is to young to go out alone 🤷‍♀️

Official guidelines here

www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/self-isolation-advice/

7 days from onset of symptoms, so if you are on day 12 of self isolation when you start with symptoms, you need to do another 7 days.

Glad to see no misinformation in this thread so far. Good job!

I went back to read those govt guidelines and was delighted to see they were clearer than when originally published. They've actually explained it quite well!
