Because surely to God they wouldn't have actually allowed that stupid bloody mnhq advertising bot to be posting on sensitive threads at a time like this. No I do not want 5% off my holiday this year, come on now!!!

Those automated posts need to fuck off.

People need to get a grip, it’s a free website run with advertising money. They’re hardly advertising holidays to Wuhan Market. YABU.

DamnYouAutoCarrot · 19/03/2020 13:01

@annamie judging by the fact that you're the only one saying that, maybe you need to get a grip. It's distasteful and ill timed to post bot adverts for holiday discounts with what is going on in the world right now.

Yes the site need to make money, but not at the expense of others wellbeing. I'm not easily offended and it certainly offended me.

Becca19962014 · 19/03/2020 13:58

annamie I'm sure the op who was posting concerned for their child ending their life last night just needed to get a grip at having their op changed to include money off a holiday ffs.

Historically these bots always go tits up because they are bots.

Last time women who had experienced miscarriages were being offered products for when they had the baby they'd just lost as the bot saw baby and made assumptions. Think they need a grip too?

MN is free so that makes it ok? It doesn't it really, doesn't.

A media article about the hacks last year said it was a branch of an organisation that hate women
