Posting for traffic - sorry - I tried the vegan page and only got one response.

My DS (4 months) has CMPA and I am now dairy free. He's much better, but I am miserable and missing cheese. I have some Violife "Mature cheddar" which is ok for cheese on toast. Which ones do you wise people like? Which is most cheese like?

Cream cheese - violife creamy or Nush almond milk ones

Applewood smoked

Sheese grated

Violife Parmesan or follow your heart ready grated Parmesan

Follow your heart Gouda slices are immense

Tesco jalapeño one is nice in Mexican dishes. My OH makes me enchiladas with it. Yum.

Do not try the vitalite one. Just don't do it to yourself.

Also try nutritional yeast instead of cheese in sauces and on pasta etc.

I spoke to my aunt earlier about vegan cheese. She's been vegan two years and said applewood and the ASDA own brand vegan cheese were her favourite

Thanks everyone! I miss cheese on toast - actually I grate cheese on almost anything - so giving it up has been hard even though DS2 is so much better!

La Faux Magerie - they have web orders, artisan vegan cheese of all varieties.

They do a testing/sample box. It is SO good!
