How is it that the smallest member of our household ( who is a dog by the way, although it denies it) takes up the most couch? A spatial anomaly? I’d welcome folks’ thoughts.Tink.

Cats are worse IMO as they can stretch more, but I did have a lovely boxer as a teen who, fedup because I didn't move from her spot, moved behind me and shoved. I ended up on the floor.

It's a timely thread as you know when you feel watched? Yup, DP left his work bag on the cat's chair and she wanted me to sort it Grin.

NoveltyFunsies that is such an "oh, how could you" look.

Oh god yes, as soon as a dog gets on a bed or sofa, they absolutely do expand; it's a scientific fact.

My dog weighs 6.5 kilo but when she gets on the sofa she seems to turn into some sort of great dane type beast. It's a two seater so tbh there's not a lot of room in the first place; good thing I'm happy to sit on the floor.

However, I have to forgive her because when I get into bed at night, she'll move from her place, which is almost always where my feet go, to come nearer the top of the bed - she's always first into bed - and leave me a nice warm place to put my feet.

DDog1 is a habitual smuggler. This is he. Oh yes, totally ‘vile’. 🙄

Writersblock2 · 15/03/2020 12:21

Snuggler* but, you know...lol

Twenty2 · 15/03/2020 12:25

'I think it's vile 🤮 that people sleep with their dogs, ours isn't allowed on the furniture and is quite happy on the rug or in her bed'

Just as well no one is forcing you to sleep with their dogs then, isn't it? Hmm

Yerroblemom1923 · 15/03/2020 12:29

Ours knows he's not allowed on the sofa or upstairs. So I've picked YABU, because if it's an issue don't let him on the furniture.

Duuuhhh!
Dogs don't have to obey the laws of physics. When they lie down, their surface area is determined by the amount of love in their massive doggie hearts. A=🐕x❤

LakieLady · 15/03/2020 12:41

@SpyApp - that is so true!

pigsDOfly · 15/03/2020 12:56

@SpyApp Very convincing bit of scientific modelling there Grin and so true.
