To wish my 60+ y/o parents didn't have to work

So obviously it's best for 60+ year olds to avoid busy public places at the moment but unfortunately my parents aren't in the smug-retiree category so cannot actually do that! One of my parents is a medical professional and the other works in a University. They are both in fairly poor health and one has a heart condition and is over 65. Aibu to wish my extremely wealthy grandfather had given them something in his will or things had worked out differently so I didn't have to worry about Covid-19?

Unfortunately there is no point wishing for "what ifs". Most people in their 60s are going to be working until 67 from now on in most Western nations. Help them take all the precautions they can. For medical professionals make sure all magazines etc in waiting areas are tossed, anything minor that can harbor germs should be tossed. Encourage them to clear out their workspace, keep it super clean and wear gloves in and out of work when touching door handles, lift buttons etc. Stay away from everyone else as much as possible!

Wishing isn't going to make any difference I'm afraid so there is no point in doing it, you can't change the past. I'm sure your parents will take any necessary precautions. There will be a lot of others in their situation.
