To worry about migraine with aura?

Hi everyone.

For the past 6 years I have suffered with migraines with aura around 3 or 4 times a year.

I get tunnel vision which starts with a blurry zig zag spot in the middle of my eyesight and it slowly works it's way to the outside on both eyes. It will usually last an hour and then goes away and then the migraine will start. So it's like a warning it's on it's way, but it's quite scary. This week I've had two in succession. I've never had them so close together before.

Does anyone else suffer with them? I work at a laptop all day and am wondering if I should get my eyes tested, even though my vision seems fine day to day?

Should I go and see a doctor?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Things that may help -
Tryptan medicine from gp or pharmacist
Avoid dehydration
Methylcolbamin B12 and Methyl Folate combo (better absorbed b12 and folic acid basically)
Blue light filtering glasses and regular screen breaks
Cold compress on neck and warm foot soak for symptoms

I get these, used to get them a lot but they have calmed down a bit. They're absolutely horrible. You can go to the doctor and get specialist medication for them, it helps a little bit but not a great deal. My hands usually go numb too and they have made me vomit before.

My husband told me I should get those blue light filter glasses, have any of you tried them before? I work as a freelancer so am constantly on my laptop and the blue light could be a trigger I guess? This whole week has been a disaster for me and I'm still feeling crap today. I always feel like I have a low grade fever and a dull headache for days afterwards. Sorry you all suffer with them too, it is nice to know I'm not alone but wouldn't wish these on anyone.

That after effect is called post-drome, leaves me feeling like I have a hangover from hell.. i'm fuzzy headed, tired, and irritable!

my migraines mimic TIA, so I have to be very observant when happen... the aura, dysphasia, pins & needles, blind spots/loss of vision...etc None of it is pleasant, but luckily it only lasts an hour tops usually... the post-drome lasts 2-3 days though >.
