Wobbel boards

We are looking for a gift to buy our toddler for her birthday. We’ve heard wobbel boards mentioned but we are not totally sure if they are worth the money. DD is very active, loves climbing and goes to tumble tots etc so it seems like a perfect gift, if a little expensive. Does anyone have one and think they’re worth the money? Or have any similar recommendations?

Hmmm. They seem very expensive for what they are. Are you generally a 'Montessori/Waldorf' sort of family - simple wooden toys and playsilks and natural materials, that sort of thing? If she's really into imaginative play and would use it for all the millions of things you CAN use it for In would say it's worth it, but if it's just for climbing on it's definitely not worth the money.

Our very active 2 year old just got these and she's barely stopped playing with them since, much more affordable:

We absolutely LOVE ours kids are now 9 and 5 and we've had it a few years now. It's got so many uses, a wobbel-er, a bridge for toy cars, a bridge for teddies, a thing for dcs to hide under, a slide, a rocker, a thing to lie on and chill watching tv. A rocker for core strength for off ice training (eldest), a see-saw for one (youngest). A keep the cats from climbing the Christmas tree blockade. A bridge for running through the doorways yelling "beeeeeeeees" for reasons unknown

No idea if they are worth it but they look dangerous to me! I’m envisioning chopped off fingers. I also like how the FAQ suggests teaching children not to hold the edges from the very first time they use it but their promotional video has the child repeatedly holding the edges of the circle one while spinning.
