To think I'm STILL ovulating while on two hormonal birth controls at once

So fucking tired of this.

Long story short, have severe endometriosis, 3 surgeries down under the care of specialists and my ovary is stuck directly to my uterus (and probably other things) which makes ovulation VERY painful for me and means I know exactly when I'm ovulating.

I currently have the Mirena (have had it for 1.5 years and still had regular periods/ovulation on it) and now also take a combined pill back to back with no breaks for a bleed on top of having the Mirena.

Started the pill 6 weeks ago and skipped the pill free week as instructed. Had the usual ovulation pains 2 weeks in but would told it would take a few weeks to stop that. Well 4 weeks after that again I'm on the floor with the usual bad ovulation pain all the way down my thigh with my pelvis on fire.

How long does it take to stop ovulating on the combined pill?? Absolutely sick of this now.

More likely it's something else now...like your body adjusting to the pill. I mean the combined pill doesnt take long to work. Also if you only ovulate once or twice in a cycle then you shouldnt be experiencing pain more than a few days per month anyway.

Could it be the endrometroitis?

Well I'm in pain 24/7 which in theory is because my ovary is adhered to many things. The ovulation pain is cyclical and happens every 4 weeks and floors me for 3 days.

I had surgery to remove all my endometriosis at a specialist centre only 6 months ago. My consultant did say it may take a little bit for ovulation to be suppressed in a young lady in her 20's but don't know how long they meant exactly.

You know your body. If it feels the same, Id say yes. You poor thing. I had a twisted ovary years ago. That was agony when I had my period. I was prescribed opioids but thar was abroad. Are you able to take painkillers? Idk what they will give you here for it and pain management takes forever to get seen. Alternating max dose cocodamol (30/500 prescription only) and ibuprofen is the same strength as morphine. You can get 8/500 otc.
