To crack open the wine

Lost my mum 2 months ago and, as is usually the case on a Sunday, I am feeling especially emotional today. I am not working tomorrow and my kids are all grown up. Would I be unreasonable to get stuck into the wine (on an empty stomach) knowing that I will probably get easily drunk and even more emotional (might be a good thing allowing myself a good ol' cry though) or would that be the start of a slippery slope?

Try a distraction. When my head Is busy and full of stress I really find podcasts help. You seem to pay attention more than tv.
The fern cotton happy place ones are very uplifting and put things in perspective very much so.
For some complete bonkers and addictive belly laughing try my dad wrote a porno and gosdipmongers. Get in the bath and have a good laugh.
Its natural to feel shit you just have to find ways to reduce that feeling. Chin up love xx

Well, if it's what you need, enjoy the wine and don't feel guilty about it. Wine

I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost both my parents last year, it’s very hard and I do understand the desire to hit the bottle. In my experience however drunken crying is not the way to release grief. A walk is a very good idea. And then how about a nice dinner and one glass of wine? Don’t drink on an empty stomach.
