3 year old takes random temperatures and says she's very sleepy

My three year old keeps taking really random temperatures at all times in the day. Since Sunday she's had one daily. Took her and her sister who is 1 (who started taking temperatures too) to the doctors and I was told my 1 year old had a chest infection but there wasn't anything wrong with my 3 year old.

She tells me she's so sleepy when she's hot and falls asleep. She goes really pale too.

The temperatures happen here and then then this week have been regular.

The one last night came with a rash on her face which looked a lot like chicken pox then it faded away.

Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks

Have you tried giving her Calpol and if so did it help.
Is she responding normally, when awake?
Is she having trouble staying awake when woken up?
Is she eating and drinking as normal?
When did she last pass urine?
What colour is she in her face?
Are her hands and feet a normal temperature or are they cold to touch in comparison to the rest of her?

BTW I am a clinician for an ambulance service.

Yeah calpol is the only thing takes her temperature down.

She's very sleepy when she has a temperature but when she doesn't she's completely fine

No not really

She's eating less but drinking a normal amount

She goes very pale yellowish when it happens

They stay the same as her body

Thank you for the reply

My daughter was exactly like this for 2 weeks - until she got her first chicken pox. We’re 3 days into it now. From what I’ve read since it’s quite normal before chicken pox, as they are trying to fight it (hence the temperature which is an immune system response) but randomly as they aren’t actually “Sick” yet. Of course visit your GP if you are worried, I had an appointment booked for Wednesday but obvs don’t need that now!
