Should probably start with I’m pregnant and finding this one the hardest.

We went out for dinner to Pizza Express. Ate half my pizza and took the other half home to eat later. Actually said this at the table. Husband inhaled his then finished off the kids.
He’s just walked into the room eating it! 😭 It’s all gone.

Now he’s huffy I called him out on it!

Can’t tell if I’m being hormonal or if he’s being an ass 😂

He needs to provide you with pizza every day you want it, for the rest of the pregnancy. It's the only way I'd forgive him.

FloydWasACat · 25/02/2020 21:47

I would go mad at that! Arsehole!

Selfish arsehole! Even without the pregnancy that is greedy, selfish and thoughtless. You don't help yourself to other people's food without asking (and waiting for permission) first.

I think your plan of a good breakfast out tomorrow sounds the best answer. Enjoy it!

DingleberryRose · 25/02/2020 22:10

That’s divorce worthy!!!!

My husband would be made to sleep in the garden if he ate my leftover pizza!!!!

PrincessHoneysuckle · 25/02/2020 22:13

I'd throat punch dh for that and I'm not even pregnant.🍕

Whatisthisfuckery · 25/02/2020 22:16

Is he growing his own food baby or somet? Greedy git. Go to your bakery and make him do the shop.

DefiniteArticle · 25/02/2020 22:16

Omg. He stole a pregnant woman's food.

Smileyaxolotl1 · 25/02/2020 22:18

Yanbu - that is all!

theseriousmoonlight · 25/02/2020 22:19

Who has voted yabu????
Who???

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 25/02/2020 22:28

He would be hunting every takeaway/shop within a 50 mile radius, and cooking/ reheating it/adding my favourite toppings if he didn’t want to be suffocated in his sleep! And I’m not even pregnant. just greedy

Go to the bakery tomorrow. And when he gets home, make sure you’ve ordered a beautiful takeaway pizza to be delivered, just for you (and maybe the kids) And eat it all in front of him. Maybe add a topping he hates so you can’t share...

Beery doesn’t share pizza

ZarkingBell · 25/02/2020 22:32

DefiniteArticle you remind me of a time when I was pregnant with my first child and had gone to a formal dinner. I'd booked my veggie meal long in advance.
When I got there I was delighted to see I was at the table with an old friend and colleague, and his (shortly to be) second wife whom I'd only met briefly by then. She snaffled my ordered veggie meal as it appeared at the table and happily said 'it looked so much nicer than the other option'. I was totally aghast. I was so hungry I could have chewed off her arm and it took about thirty minutes until the 'extra' meal was delivered to me, as we were the last table in a huge dinner to be served.
Fortunately the marriage didn't last long as he did manage to see how vile she was but I never found the words that night!

JockTamsonsBairns · 25/02/2020 22:35

Pregnant women should be cosseted and have their every whim met- they are very busy growing a whole new opinionated person and need all the support they can get!

Why do pregnant women need every whim met? This approach is incredibly damaging to women, and I really can't understand why it keeps getting perpetuated. Yes, there are times when pregnant women have mitigating circumstances, and those should most definitely be observed - but this mindset doesn't do any of us any favours.
I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but so be it. I've had 3 DC's, and I'd never imagine that every whim should be met. It's ridiculous.

FWIW, I think the OP's DH was quite rude and greedy to eat her leftover pizza, but that would be the case regardless of her pregnancy status.

Daftodil · 25/02/2020 23:15

How rude! I'd be furious. He obviously knew it was yours, but if he did think you were unlikely to eat it he could've at least asked first. What a greedy guts. Time to raid the cupboards/fridge and gobble up any treats DP particularly likes!

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 25/02/2020 23:16

@WelcomeToTheMountaintop
Sweet lord, that may be the weirdest and best thing I’ve ever seen.

I think it’s time for a vow renewal

DefiniteArticle · 25/02/2020 23:36

@ZarkingBell 😂😂 I'm not surprised you couldn't find the words, it's literally unbelievable that somebody could do this. It just does not compute.

whiskersonkittenss · 25/02/2020 23:38

Greedy bastard. We'd all be your alibi Grin

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 26/02/2020 03:14

Asked DH if we could renew our vows:

Me: Um, can we renew our vows?
Him: Er, wtf? You’ve always said that was ridiculous.
Me: They’ve invented a pizza bridal bouquet.
Him: Oh. (Pause) Well of course. (Pause) Can the groom have a bouquet too??

Sorry no help to you OP, who I hope is planning a wonderful feast for yourself tomorrow Grin

Thesesleeplessnightsarethelong · 26/02/2020 03:45

Can you be slightly raging? Isn't that like being a little bit pregnant? You're raging, or you're not.

MySonIsAlsoNamedBort · 26/02/2020 03:56

If someone had done this to me when I was pregnant I would have gone crazy with rage.
