For the love of God there is no such word as "alot"!

Or "abit" or "infact" or "inbetween". No, really. They're not words.

And please stop putting random spaces before punctuation. (Unless you're writing in French, in which case carry on.)

And "your" is not an abbreviation for "you are".

(Sorry - I'm probably BU, it's just a forum, no digs meant at anyone who's dyslexic or who has other learning difficulties, etc., etc. And I'm sure my grammar isn't perfect, and I certainly shouldn't begin sentences with a preposition.)

But, please!

Alright is a word that has been used as an alternative spelling to “all right” for a long time.

It is there in my 40-year-old dictionary for a start.

Meanwhile please leave those of us with poor, but pretty much always comprehensible posts alone. My grammar is bad, wasn’t taught well at school. I’m not proud of it and spend my time checking for work or important documents. Im not doing it for MN as well.

If you can’t stand that posts are badly spelt or have bad grammar or no paragraphs scroll past. If that rules out a lot of the site maybe time to change site or your judgments.

Agree with this. I NEVER pick apart someone's SPAG on a thread or IRL. It's just bad manners.

We ALL make mistakes sometimes.
