...you've pulled up your trousers and sorted yourself out? I was in the queue for the ladies today and possibly because I was desperate for a wee, I was overly invested in counting down the time untill my turn. So the next person flushes and I think fab, but then the woman clearly hadn't sorted herself out yet so took a little while longer by which time the cubicle next to her became free (thank goodness)

So it got me thinking, do you flush before you've pulled everything up, or after?

Yabu= flush before
Yanbu= flush after

I stand up , dress , flush then walk out .

Maybe she took a while to come out because she was washing her hands thoroughly??? I always flush, get sorted, and then wash and dry my hands which would mean I wouldn't be exiting the toilet stall for a good couple of minutes after the flush... Surely everyone does this?

First and then sort myself out. I check that everything has gone before leaving the cubicle, whether it’s a poo or just a wee and some loo roll.

The people who flush as they leave are presumably the ones who leave the floaters and huge skid marks that I regularly encounter.

When people at work just wander out leaving the toilet in a state I get quite annoyed. I think it shows real disrespect towards our cleaning staff, who are the ones who end up having to deal with it at the end of every day. How hard is it to stick around long enough to check that you aren’t leaving a mess for other people to deal with?

If it's a poo I flush quickly so it's not smelly for the next person. And then flush again.

Most people here don’t purely because the washing facilities are outside the cubicle. I’m assuming you’re not in the UK.
