Teacher filming school concert AIBU?

Venue - a church with a choir (from 2 x secondary schools) , singing a religious choral set.

We were all told by a deputy head teacher, no mobiles for photos or filming.

Part way through the second half, a teacher at one end of the front row starts filming about 20-30 seconds worth of footage at 2 stages of the concert. Then she was giggling and whispering to her friend next to her whilst solos were taking place.

I signed a disclaimer saying yes to photos by the school's photographer, not be a member of staff on her personal phone.

We are DBS checked and we look after people’s actual children day in, day out.

That’s the safeguard, essentially. If you trust me with your child, then you can trust me with pictures of your child.

Sorry, but that's ridiculously naive. All our support staff are DBS checked, and great with the kids. But it didn't stop some of them doing stupid things on social media.
The school I worked at now has a pretty watertight social media policy and agreement that has to be re-signed every year. And a data policy that includes photo use.

The DBS check simply indicates that staff have no past criminal record. Not that they won't share photos of your child. That's down to the school to ensure.

Having a clean DBS certificate isn't some kind of magic piece of paper that means you've never done something stupid or never will, teachers aren't special people who'll never make a misjudgement or commit a crime. That's a very naive view.

Is it possible she was at the concert in her role as ordinary human being and friend of one of the professional singers and was filming them, with no interest whatsoever in the school choir in the background?
