To ask if you'd live in a house where someone was murdered

Just finished watching 'White House Farm' and wondered to myself what happened to the property. Did someone buy it and now lives in it or has it remained empty? I know a google search would prob tell me but my question is, would you live in a house where a murder had taken place? I'm not religious but I think that I'd be scared to be alone in a place with a violent past, in that I'm sure it would harbour sinister vibes.

I would. I don't believe in ghosts or vibes or anything woo.

There will be loads of places in any place that was bombed during WWII where dozens or hundreds will murdered either in the dwelling or where it stood. Not to mention died from suicide or overdose - Amy Winehouse's home in Camden, the flat where Caroline Flack ended her life, the flat where Sylvia Plath ended hers (and then her husband's mistress, who also killed her daughter at the same time) that are definitely not getting a discount. I reckon quite a few people are living in places that have been the scenes of all manner of death and have no idea.

Wouldn't bother me, though I wouldn't buy the house if it had been a high profile case, in case of idiots wandering around, taking photos and being a nuisance.

I live in a house where someone died (natural causes) and there was a murder in a nearby house a few years ago. I'm not spooked by it and I'm quite woo.

Very true! I feel for whoever is living in Caroline Flack's former flat. She didn't even die there and yet the door is covered in flowers.
