To think that if I'm unsubscribed from all MN emails, they shouldn't keep emailing me?

I keep getting emails about polls that I've voted in. EVERY time I click to unsubscribe from all emails. I've also checked 'Manage email preferences' and everything is unticked. I don't want any emails from Mumsnet. STOP SENDING THEM.

This does my head in. My inbox is always clogged up with emails from MN despite trying all I can to unsubscribe from everything. If they dont sort it, I'm going to have to delete my account and just lurk. come on MNHQ sort it out

And dangerous for women in vulnerable situations who may follow advice to hide their internet history etc, but then get an unintended email...

God, I've endlessly asked to not be emailed about every thing I've posted on. Because my DH is Mr Tech and all our emails pop up in one go, regardless of which address.

Which is fine.

Unless I've said 'DH is being a bit annoying because'. And ... there it is, plastered across our inbox.

No amount of ticking the relevant boxes changes that. I do not want, or need, minute by minute input as to who has replied to a post I'm following. Or I started.

But apparently, that's how it is.

For the record, I reported my post. Maybe we all should.

Your Options Don't Work

Mumsnet. You are putting women in dangerous situations by not sorting out your email notifications.

You could end up in court if a woman has demonstrated that she requested that mumsnet does not send me email notifications about threats I have started and commented upon- yet, you have. And the woman has suffered as a result.

I've reported my post and advised MN that under GDPR I do not consent to these emails. I may be mistaken but i thought companies could be fined up to 4% of annual turnover for breaking this law.

This has been happening to me, too. I've unsubscribed I don't know how many times. How invested do they think we are in the crap we browse when we can't sleep!

I know it's not the right solution but, maybe,create a separate anonymous email account for mn? I see none of their emails or @ tags unless I look for them - and rarely do.

Same here. I unsubscribe multiple times a week yet my inbox for the past 2 days has been "check out the updates on this AIBU poll".

I'm getting them too, despite unsubscribing. Try this.

Use the blue arrow at top right if the screen
Click customise
Unselect update on polls by email
Click save

My much more tech savvy than me DS has pointed out the following link to me. Not sure if it will stop completely but I have tried updating here www.mumsnet.com/Talk?call=Preferences

I had this and it was really annoying me, then I finally noticed another option under the purple box highlighted as "here", which has additional options to the useless unsubscribe. I unselected the poll option, see if the link below works:

The link doesn't work on the mobile app - just brings up loads of ads for me.

I've unsubscribed from your emails several times, starting over a week ago, yet I've had 19 emails from you today alone.

It is against regulations to spam people like this once they've unsubscribed. I've had to create a filter to in my inbox to stop seeing them.

Not impressed.

The link on the email just takes me to a load of ads. I am unsubscribed from all emails and yet still get them. I'll report them as spam to gmail and see if I can get them blocked that way - but really, if I've clicked "unsubscribe from all emails", I expect to be able to do just that! 🤔

@GloriaMumsnet scrolling to the bottom of the email and clicking "unsubscribe to these emails" which I've done numerous times, should be enough.

But that doesn't work.

I'm sure the ICO would have something to say about that.

It's almost as if Mumsnet are making it deliberately nigh on impossible to unsubscribe from emails

I started getting email updates on every poll I’d commented on, then unsubscribed to all the emails, now I can’t see any poll on screen at all. Thought it was just me having problems. Please sort out ASAP MNHQ.
